I recently visited Maskell Pythons in Essex, scanning for eggs, follicles, but also looking at some python hearts. Below is a clip taken with the same linear probe that I used for the reproductive work. It provides a different look at the heart versus the microconvex probe, which I found to be more useful overall (far less shadowing from the spine and ribs). Nala came for her pregnancy scan today. We saw at least 6 (probably 7) foetuses, at around six weeks of gestation.
