This little Westie is around 34 days pregnant – with several healthy puppies moving around! This was a perfect time to scan, because the puppies were well-developed enough that we could see strong heartbeats, skulls and spines; yet, the pregnancy is early enough that they are still very small and not overlaying one another too much, allowing us to be able to discern at least 4-5 individual gestation sacs. It would not be surprising if she ended up having more!

Dolly attended ten days ago for a 25-day scan. 25 days is too early to confirm pregnancy for an owner, but in Dolly’s case, she was scanned on the understanding
Nala came for her pregnancy scan today. We saw at least 6 (probably 7) foetuses, at around six weeks of gestation.
