This little West Highland White Terrier is 33 days post-mating, and it was exciting to see that she is pregnant with several puppies. It was possible to obtain heartbeats on the three of them that were close to the surface of the skin (and therefore the ultrasound transducer), despite their tiny size at this early stage, with sacs only 3cm in diameter.
