I saw Violeta, a lilac chihuahua, for a pregnancy scan today. Anything over 30 days post-mating is easily detected by an experienced user of ultrasound, and it was clear that Violeta was not pregnant.
In the clip below, the scan begins at her bladder, travels up the midline imaging the intestines, and ending at the liver (where the gallbladder can be briefly spotted).
