Dolly attended ten days ago for a 25-day scan. 25 days is too early to confirm pregnancy for an owner, but in Dolly’s case, she was scanned on the understanding
I scanned 3 Boer goats today in Sevenoaks, Kent. This was my third trip to this farm; the last two times, all of the females were not pregnant, but this time, they’d changed the billy. It was so exciting to find that, finally, their goats were pregnant!
I could clearly identify a kid in two of the does, and two foetuses in another.
These goats are all in great body condition so it was possible to get very clear pictures of the foetal anatomy, umbilical cord, as well as the hooves of the little kids.

Nala came for her pregnancy scan today. We saw at least 6 (probably 7) foetuses, at around six weeks of gestation.
