Jack Russell already looking very rounded, head measurements at 5 weeks 6 days. She had four last litter, and we saw a minimum of four on this scan. Owners said
Bitch was being scanned for a pregnancy confirmation scan 35 days post mating, I had noticed she had a heavy bloody discharge, and owner confirmed she was also drinking more than normal.
No sign of pregnancy but there were abnormal fluid sacs and she has been referred to the vet.
Vet confirmed my thoughts that it was an open Pyometra infection and the bitch will be spayed.
