After whelping scan where a retained puppy was suspected, unfortunately it was sleeping and the bitch had to have a C section for it to be removed.

This was a routine after whelping scan.   I could clearly see at least two retained placentas, the bitch was referred to the breeders vet who administered Oxytocin.   Five hours later
