This beautiful Akita came to Bromley today for an early gestation pregnancy scan. We saw at least 6 gestation sacs (likely more), and were even able to listen to the heartbeats of one of the foetuses, as the mother was so well behaved and happy to stand perfectly still. It’s unusual to be able to capture the heartbeat at such an early stage, and important that ultrasound settings are adjusted for safety reasons when scanning less developed foetuses.

Nala came for her pregnancy scan today. We saw at least 6 (probably 7) foetuses, at around six weeks of gestation.
