Getting good contact with the skin was tricky on such a fluffy little bunny, but a lot of ultrasound gel eventually did the trick. We managed to see two kits (probably a lot more, but windows through the fur were limited), both moving around healthily. I turned on colour Doppler briefly, in order to see the blood flow pulsing through to one of the babies.

Dolly attended ten days ago for a 25-day scan. 25 days is too early to confirm pregnancy for an owner, but in Dolly’s case, she was scanned on the understanding
Nala came for her pregnancy scan today. We saw at least 6 (probably 7) foetuses, at around six weeks of gestation.
