Violet 4th Feb 2023

Violet; a Double Doodle (Golden Doodle x Australian Labradoodle) age 2, had been progesterone tested and she ovulated on 1st January, she was mated by TCI following ovulation on 4th January. I did a first scan on 28th January and estimated the gestation sacs to be approx 24/25 days, too young at that stage to detect viable pregnancy by heartbeat detection, although I was able to confirm pregnancy. This is a rescan one week later and shows potentially 4/5 sacs approximately 32/33 days old. Visible head and body identified and heartbeats on puppies, therefore enable to confirm viable pregnancy. There are three cini films available. Violet was a little restless and keeping her still for the scan was rather tricky whilst also trying to keep her calm and reassured.
