Ivy

Today I scanned beautiful Ivy, she’s a kind natured 2 year old sprocker spaniel, her parents are both working dogs. She mated twice to a working black and white Springer Spaniel with an equally lovely nature. Although we generally don’t see heartbeats until 28 days, we could only just detect this, but not on all puppies. I think the approximate gestational
age is 26/27 days. We saw 6/7 puppies on the scan, all sacs look healthy although at this stage we did not see heartbeats on every pup. She is due around 29th of October as I think she has taken from the second mating, looking at the sacs. I would not be surprised if there was one puppy on the scan we did not see, therefore approximately 6-8 puppies.
