This was a routine confirmation scan, but done later than usual as my client also had a bitch 4 weeks from mating to scan at the same time. The foetuses (3) seemed lively and perfectly formed, but sadly only one puppy was born alive and healthy. One was premature and stillborn in the garden, and the last did not come, but an xray showed a mass that may have been the unabsorbed remains.
