SUMMARY:Ultrasound for Goat Pregnancy Detection
DESCRIPTION:This self-paced modular online course will teach you everything you need to know about confirming pregnancy in goats using ultrasound – from the smallest Nigerian Dwarf\, to the chunkiest Boer! We also cover findings such as hydrometra (cloudburst pregnancy)\, gestational age calculation and fetal heart rate measurement. \nWe have filmed this course and made it self-paced due to popular demand (no more worrying that your goats are going to start kidding right before your course date!)\, but we have not eliminated the live\, personal interaction that makes our courses so popular. This course still includes unlimited\, lifetime access to two expert sonographers\, who are on hand to answer any questions and review your scans with you. Simply contact them through your training portal\, or arrange a free Zoom call with them to discuss any difficulties. \nEverything covered in this course is also applicable to sheep\, but demonstration examples have all been filmed on dairy goats. The date you book for simply affects which cohort of fellow students you begin learning with and is the latest date at which you will be emailed logins to the learning portal. You are not obligated to begin your first module on the displayed date\, and you will retain access to the portal for a minimum of 2 years (if you need to extend your access\, just email us).
